Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Sentry Saver collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
Your dashcam screenshots never leave your phone.
This app can read screenshots you pick from your photo library, to extract the times your recorded camera events happened. That reading happens entirely on your device. The image is not uploaded, not stored by us, and not kept by the app afterwards — only the timestamps are saved, and only on your phone.
You can skip photos altogether and type the times in by hand.
Stored on your device only:
- The event times you added, whether read from a screenshot or typed in
- Your car, electricity price, standby estimate and daily distance
- Your reminder schedule
There is no account and no server holding any of it. We cannot read it, and neither can anyone else.
Collected by third-party services:
- Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics) — app usage patterns, performance and crash reports, anonymised. You can turn this off in Settings.
- Advertising (Google AdMob) — advertising identifier and ad interaction data. On iOS this only happens if you allow tracking when asked; you can change it in Settings at any time.
- Device information — model, OS version and hardware class, sent with the above so crashes and ads can be handled correctly.
We do not collect:
- Your name, email address or phone number
- Your location
- Your photos, videos, contacts or files
- Anything about your vehicle. This app never connects to your car or to any vehicle service.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide core app functionality
- Improve app performance and fix bugs
- Display advertisements (to support free distribution)
- Store app data locally on your device

We do not sell your personal information. We share anonymized data with:

Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:
- User data is stored only on your device, not on servers
- Analytics data is anonymized
- Data transmission uses industry-standard encryption
- No user accounts or passwords required
No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
Advertising:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy → Advertising → Limit Ad Tracking
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
Data Deletion:
- Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data
We do not collect personally identifiable information, so there is no personal data to access or correct.
Children’s Privacy
This app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not require account registration or request personal information from any users.
