Your day, from photos you took

A month is just thirty little boxes. You already took the picture — Bento Days reads its timestamp and drops it into the right box, so filling the page is picking rather than typing. Add a line, a tag, what it cost, and by the end of the month the page has quietly added itself up.

One box a day

Each box shows whatever you left there — the photo, a tag, an amount, or nothing at all. Most of the month stays blank, and that is the point.

Picked, not typed

Today's photos appear in a drawer — swipe through and keep the ones worth remembering. Or take one right there in the app. Then a line, a tag, a price if you feel like it; every field is optional.

The month adds itself up

How many entries, how many days you actually wrote something, and what it all came to. Set a monthly budget and the page tells you where you stand.

Honest about what it knows

If some entries have no amount, it says so instead of showing a total that looks exact. It counts what you wrote down and nothing more.

What is in the app today

A month at a glance — one grid, one box per day, swipe between months. Two layouts: a plain planner run, or aligned to weekdays.
The last 25 hours as a wall — what you kept, plus the photos you took but have not filed yet.
Photos come from your own library by timestamp, or from the camera without leaving the app. Tap any photo to see it full screen, with when and where it was taken.
Tags you can rename or add to, an amount when it matters, an optional mood, and a note as short or as long as you want.
Monthly review: how often you did what, one honest number, and a note for the whole month. Set a budget if you want a verdict — or keep the number without one.
Export the month as a printable page — plain white for the copy shop, or kraft paper with hand-drawn boxes and photos taped on.
Back the whole thing up to a single file and bring it back later, on this phone or another one.
